[Meetup] User Meetup (Düsseldorf)

In-person meetup for all things Codeberg.

We are organizing a meetup for people interested in Codeberg in Düsseldorf; home of Kraftwerk, at least 10 breweries (it's Germany) and, most important of all, the Chaosdorf, which is the hackerspace that will be generously hosting us.

Please take a COVID test and expect to wear a mask; we are guests and we will very likely not be alone. The hackerspace can provide FFP2 masks and tests.

If you cannot wear a mask or need to take breaks (i.e. sensory issues), we can arrange a solution that everyone will be comfortable with.

Non-German speakers are also welcome!

The event in itself will not have much of a structure and is going to be more like a get-together. Expect general discussions about:

  • Codeberg
  • Maintaining projects on Codeberg
  • What works well and what doesn't
  • Free Software

If there is demand, we could...

  • come up with an ad-hoc hackathon and start contributing to Codeberg
  • contribute to each others' projects and exchange perspectives

Soft drinks can be purchased in the hackerspace itself. If need be, there is a variety of restaurants close by.
